Whole Hog Barbecue - click her to see a full sixed version of this image in a new browser window.1. Whole Hog Barbecue. This was our first recipe for Aunt' Sue's Sauce. Our Sauce was originally created for whole hog barbecuing. Since then we have discovered many, many other uses.

2. Fresh Barbecued Picnic, Place whole or half picnic in a roasting pan, sprinkle with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and Aunt Sue's Barbecue Sauce, add approximately 1/2 inch of water to the bottom of the roaster. Place the lid on the roaster, and put in 375o oven for two hours. Remove from oven and with a long blade knife make several deep punctures and twist the knife to produce an 1/2 to 3/4 inch hole, fill the hole with Aunt Sue's Barbecue Sauce. Repeat several more places, depending on the size of the picnic. Reduce the oven temperature to 325o and continue cooking for 40 minutes per pound of picnic.
